When staying at the guest house, guests can use private entrance. Amazing place and amazing owners!! You can hear the waves while you sleep. Located right in the middle of Mompiche. The owner was extremely accommodating, helpful and made you feel very welcome. He helped me with everything from surfboard rental to bus schedules to and from Mompiche. Only place I’ve been to in Ecuador with a mosquito net around the bed which I appreciate. Can’t beat the price and I’ll definitely be staying here again when I come back to surf the point 🤙

Fernando and Belinda made me feel so welcome and I got to have experiences in Esmeraldas that I was not able to have anywhere else. The food was incredible and I loved running on the beach right outside their property. One day I ended up running for two hours! The natural beauty of the area coupled with eating many different fruits and foods that I have never tried before made this an unforgettable experience.

All units at the guest house are fitted with a seating area. There is also a well-fitted kitchen in some of the units equipped with a fridge and kitchenware. Guests can grab a bite to eat in an outdoor dining area at the guest house. We loved the place; it is very cozy, has a great location, and is surrounded by a wide variety of restaurants. The owners are very friendly—Santiago and Miriam are always willing to help and lend a hand with anything you need. It’s a pet-friendly place, which was a huge plus for us. They are very pleasant people. We hope to return to Mompiche and stay at this same hotel.

Stayed here for 2 nights in mid Fed 2025. Paid $20/night, but I'd say this place is worth more like $10-$13/night. They have early check-in at 6am, my room had a/c and a refrigerator, and the staff person (Norma) was friendly. They have early check-in at 6am.

At the guest house, every unit includes a desk and a flat-screen TV. I had a great time at the hostal, the owners where really nice and Atacames is a very nice town with a little bit of everything. My room was very clean and it was nice to have airconditioning at night. The breakfast there is very good! At the end the owner even took me to the busstation with his car! All in all I can really recommend it!
