Casa Verde Eco Guest House provides free WiFi throughout the house. I booked 3 nights but ended up staying 6 nights. Johan and his team go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable. It's a few kilometres out of town (only $1.50 by taxi) ; it's nice and quiet, and I spend many hours reading in the hammock on the balcony. There's lots to do in the area and Johan helps you with suggestions and organises what you need. The breakfast was great and kept me going all day.

Finca Chamanapamba Guest House has a stunning rural location, boasting an onsite waterfalls, just 4 km from Baños town centre. It offers spectacular mountain views, tropical gardens with BBQ facilities and charming wooden bungalows. This is, undoubtedly, the most beautiful hotel in Banos, built by two Ecuadorian-born German brothers in their former playground. The rooms are spacious, the freshly prepared breakfast is excellent, and the architecture respects nature, making you feel like you are in the forest, in a tree house, while enjoying a stay in a four-star hotel next to one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the country. I absolutely adore this hotel, which is worth every penny; that is, the pricing is fair for the setting and service. I love this place. Staying in this hotel is an experience, rather than a mere stay. The brothers were also highly helpful gave excellent recommendations to the best driver in town and to the best spa (El Refugio), where we enjoy the cajon bano. Thank you so much for this stay!
