We look back fondly on a very special time at Kemet House. We stayed for four nights in a wonderful place with an incredibly friendly host and a warm, welcoming team. The atmosphere was calm and serene, and the food was absolutely fantastic. Our room was very clean and spacious. We especially enjoyed the lovely patio, which was perfect for relaxing. There were also plenty of options for activities, making it easy to explore the area at our own pace. We loved being on this side of the river, away from the more touristy areas. Everything was perfect.

Since our arrival time in Luxor was early, the hotel owners, Karima and Ali, kindly allowed us to check-in early, which was a very nice gesture. The hotel's location is a bit far from the center, but it's in a wonderful spot, immersed in nature. Additionally, it is very close to the Valley of the Kings. You can enjoy your meals with a fantastic view of the Valley of the Kings from the hotel terrace. The breakfasts and dinners at the hotel are delicious and organic. Also, it includes local Egyptian dishes. The hotel owners, Karima and Ali, are very sweet people, and we had beautiful conversations with them. The other staff members were also very friendly, open to communication, and respectful, which made us feel at home. In short, the atmosphere in the hotel was amazing, and it was a very clean place. Furthermore, Ali and Karima organize tours and hot air balloon experiences for hotel guests, which made things very convenient for us. I am sure I will visit Luxor again one day, and when I do, I will definitely stay at this hotel again. Thank you for everything

Located in Luxor, less than 1 km from Medinet Habu Temple, Rose Guest House provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The property is around 1.8 km from Colossi of Memnon, 1.8 km from Deir el-Medina and 2.4 km from Valley of the Queens. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi. The whole stay was really good. The room was good value for the money. We never joined the proper breakfast, but despite our very early mornings (and ramadan approaching its end) they always prepared a coffee and yoghurt with fresh fruit and even omelettes if we wanted. The location is perfect for visiting the west bank on bicycles (there is a nice bike rental very close to the guest house), or the staff can help with getting local drivers, too... We split our stay in Hurgada between east and west bank, and even after moving to the east, we still returned to have delicious dinner and to spend another cozy evening at the Rose Guesthouse :) Jabalawi (the guy running the place) and his brother are absolutely great: interesting discussions, good laughs and so much knowledge and good tips for travels. Hopefully we'll see you soon again!
