One of the highlights was the amazing food—fresh, organic Egyptian dishes lovingly prepared by Mohamed. Every meal was a treat! The rooftop view was absolutely stunning—you could see the Valley of the Kings and watch the hot air balloons rising in the early morning. A truly magical experience. We also want to thank Arafat, who provided exceptional taxi service. He made us feel safe and cared for everywhere we went—more than just a driver, he was a true host. The neighborhood experience was another unforgettable part of our stay. We had the chance to spend time with local families on their farms. The kids especially loved riding donkeys and horses, feeding goats, and getting a glimpse into rural Egyptian life. This stay was warm, authentic, and full of heart. Highly recommended!

We definitely recommend it to everyone. *The place has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. *They offer food from a close by restaurant and it is delicious. *The pool is well keep and it is great for relaxing. *The location is the perfect middle point to everything (Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Queens is 10-15 minutes drive. Within 15 minutes walk you get to the harbor where you can cross by boat directly to Luxor temple or Karnak Temple). We both felt extremely welcome. Mahmoud, Mohammed and Ibrahim were amazing hosts, they speak good English and are very kind. Casa Loko can also arrange different tours for you.

Well, I stayed for almost 2 weeks in this place. There is nothing not to like about this guesthouse. The staff is made up from a bunch of guys who are extremely helpful. They keep everything clean 24/7. As they put it themselves: we are a family working together. And they really are. "Smells like team spirit"...;-) Ofcourse, this is not a 5 star hotel, but the effort they make to make you feel at home/ease and arrange anything is really similar, if not better. The general manager, Ibrahim, will make sure that everything is taken care off. One example: the floor manager stood up at 2.30 at night (!) to personally say goodbye when I had to leave. Where on earth do you find this kindness of heart?! Rooms are spacious and neat. Breakfast is good and enough. Bathroom is shared but with little people so it's really no turn off. It is cleaned multiple times per day. Supergreat stay for a very friendly price! 10 outta 10! You really can't go wrong booking this guesthouse. And this is my independent opinion.

All staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The rooms were immaculate—spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. Every detail was considered to create a relaxing environment. The food was equally impressive, which had me looking forward to every meal. What really stood out was Gaba’s dedication to making my stay as seamless and enjoyable as possible. He personally organised all my activities and transportation, saving me time and effort while ensuring everything ran smoothly. His local knowledge and attention to detail were invaluable. This guesthouse is a gem, offering a perfect combination of comfort, convenience, and exceptional hospitality. I can’t recommend it enough and will definitely be returning!
