We were welcomed with open arms by Ossama, Laurice and their beautiful family. The rooms are very spacious with the most comfortable bed, I already miss it, large bathroom and a bonus living are that opened up onto a small balcony. Room also has fridge, air conditioning and electric fan which was perfect for night time. Every morning we were treated to a huge delicious breakfast with numerous various foods. Delicious ! ! ! Staff were so friendly. Now on to the proprietors. They looked after every booking for each trip we were interested in doing which were all brilliant and went off without a hitch. Due to lost luggage on arrival into Egypt Ossama liaised with the airline /courier Company days before our arrival and once found, had our luggage delivered to the guest house. For this alone we can not thank him enough. If you plan to visit Luxor do not hesitate to stay at Kemet House…you won’t regret it. Ossama and Laurice, thank you for your hospitality. You were truly wonderful and your guest house is a credit to you both. The very best of luck always.

This is a nice place to stay, if you plan to visit the West side of Luxor. Its close to everything and at the same time very peaceful and quiet. The room is clean and spacious, food is delicious, wifi is strong, the young care taker of the place is kind and helpful.

Mahmoud and Mohammad were the absolute best hosts-- they organised drivers, an early AM airport transfer, delivered dinner and shisha to us on the rooftop most nights, and truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The apartment was nice enough to live in and we felt so comfortable here after travelling rather non-stop for several weeks-- 5 days wasn't enough! The location is in a very local part of the West Bank, away from any tourist bustle but still 15min walk to the river where you can get a ferry across to the temples for about 25egp per person. Would 1000% recommend and will definitely stay again next time we're in Luxor!!

The staff, the room, the food, and the tours they arranged for us. I have been to a lot of hotels all over the world, but this place had the best hospitality ever thanks to its amazing manager, Ibrahim. It was hard to leave this place and my friend and I will always miss it. Thank you for arranging our tour with Basry, and for taking us on a sail boat on our last day. We were well fed and taken care of. Will recommend this place to all our friends and family visiting in the future and will definitely book with them again when we come back.

He welcomes you, make sure you are comfortable, discuss life in general, knows everyone and can arrange everything that you need (from transportation to excursions, from dinner to appointments at the beauty salon 🙂, feel free to ask for help anytime) . His staff, all family and/or friends are as kind and welcoming. The breakfast is fresh, tasty and plentiful. The garden area is a peaceful Oasis. The neighborhood is very quiet and just a short walk will take you to a grocery store, a fruit stall and some restaurants. In summary, you get this cozy feeling of living like a local . I had the opportunity to meet other guests that were repeat visitors and would not stay anywhere else. He owns another property in another equally attractive location that soon will be ready to be booked. I mention this because it shows the entrepreneur spirit mixed with an eximious quality of hospitality.

On the west bank of the Nile. The view was incredible. You have to take a boat to go to the city center but the hitel own one and its cheap and very easy to use their transfert. I think its perfect to stay on the west bank because its easuer to go vist all the temple valley and the hit air balloon. Very beautiful guesthouse
