Room is small and dark, but it s part of the Nubian architecture.The best hotel of that village, i found myself very lucky to have picked that hotel, as a solo female traveller, I felt in total security and wish I stayed longer.

Mohamed was extremely kind and attended to any questions I had about the island, tours and food recommendations. The property is also very close to the public ferry and it is very safe to walk around and explore. The breakfast served by the family was fantastic as well as the dinner. The prices are fair for the food provided. A very special thank you to Menshawe, who was extremely hospitable and helped to make my stay extra special. He was very kind, and taught me a lot about elephantine island and the people who live there. Aswan is truly a beautiful and tranquil destination on the Nile river, and your stay at King Mena will provide you with the best views to see the amazing landscapes and sunsets

We were welcomed by tea and fresh mango juice. The room is super clean and the bed is extra comfy. It was a delight to wake up to the sound of birds after coming from Cairo. The hotel is right next to the ferry port and a popular restaurant.

We really enjoyed our stay at FADL KATO, with a beautiful location over looking the Nile, and a very accommodating host who helped us a lot by recommending restaurants and places to go to on the island and booked for us transportation to Abu Simbel and other trips. Would really recommend the place.

We were walking around the village and everyone was so friendly and wanted to help us!
