Traditional pensione, just 6 rooms, Great location a few minutes from a supermarket, train station and the Old Town. The owners are a kind older couple who seem to live on site. Not a big criticism.. but... It's really hard to find. The owners don't speak English so phoning to get directions doesn't work. TOP TIP: BCom has the address as 9 Bake Kalea. That is Basque. But the address on the door is 9 La Paz Calle. Which is Spanish. Both mean Peace Street. And the name of the pension itself isn't on the downstairs security door. Just a generic plaque saying HT, so it feels the wrong place. Hope this helps someone!

The Casa de Los Arquillos can be found next to Plaza de la Virgen Blanca in the historical centre of Vitoria-Gasteiz. La Casa de los Archillos was perfect for us. The bed was really comfortable, and the excellent soundproofing allowed us a good night’s sleep in the midst of all the revelry of the medieval quarter. Our bathroom was spacious and modern. We also appreciated the shared kitchen area with free coffee, tea and pastries.
