A beautiful balance of rustic and classical in a stunning rural setting, this hotel is located beside the Picos de Europa National Park in the Liébana Valley. It boasts an elegant restaurant. My husband and I loved our stay here. It was very cozy and comfortable. The room was just what we needed and the breakfast was lovely. The patio is a real treat.

Posada La Torre de La Quintana is housed in a listed historical building that breathes an air of nobility and aristocracy, surrounded by the beautiful lush Cantabrian countryside. A great location if you’re looking for peace and a safe environment. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The bathroom had a very good magnifying mirror. Lovely outside spaces to sit and relax. Very easy free parking right outside the hotel. The little village is beautiful and has a couple of restaurants. A short car ride to the seaside resort of Laredo. Fabulous walks from the hotel to some beautiful deserted beaches.

Not only is the accommodation superb and right on the Camino, but the owner and staff were exceptionally hospitable and friendly. The entire establishment is beautiful. And the dinner I enjoyed there was the best I've had since starting the Camino more than two weeks ago. If you have the chance, make a stop here during your Camino or eat here if you're lucky enough to live in this area. I stayed and ate at La Terrazza restaurant while walking the Camino del Norte in July 2025. Not only is the accommodation superb and right on the Camino, but the owner and staff were exceptionally hospitable and friendly. The entire establishment is absolutely beautiful. And the dinner I had there was the best I've had since starting the Camino more than two weeks ago. If you have the chance, make this a stop on your Camino or have a meal here if you're lucky enough to live in this area.
