And on top of that a very welcoming and accommodating host who was also our yoga instructor this morning. Experience couldn’t have been better and I wish we could’ve stayed longer. Can’t recommend enough!

There's everything you may need and Kryspin- the host - is very kind and helpful if you need assistance but also gives you privacy and space. You do need to walk up the hill to get there but twisted stairs with few little junctions make it actually very entertaining journey- for us it only added to whole experience :)

This is a large mansion dating from the end of the 19th century and has been refurbished to accommodate a new style of tourism. The hotel has been lovingly decorated with wood combined with cheerful fabric and with a range of colours and a collection of antique pieces that fill the hallways and bedrooms. This is a place that oozes harmony and with charming gardens populated by hundred year old trees and a swimming pool surrounded by palm trees. The property was wonderfully characterful. Alcove and walls were full of old artefacts and paintings. It had been a plantation in the past but water shortages have changed that. They grow as much fruit as they can for guests. I especially enjoyed the company of the cats and chickens at breakfast

The room itself was beautifully fitted-out and exceptionally clean. Great coffee machine. The building door and room were accessed using keypads and PIN numbers supplied by text. The staff were very helpful in arranging a taxi to the airport for my departure.
