The room was peaceful, spacious, quiet, and had very nice light-blocking blinds. Above all, Ximon, the host of the hotel, was an extremely hospitable man, who welcomed us warmly, but also remained attentive and went above and beyond in terms of service and local guidance all the way through, plus generosity!

Juan and his daughter Christina have fully renovated Los Canilleros B&B, a house dating back to 1859, to the highest level. We had a deluxe room. It was spacious, well outfitted and very quiet as is the town of Requena. The bathroom was roomy and exceptionally clean. Breakfast each morning was prepared with care and we were always greeted by either Christina or Juan. There is ample parking available. A highlight was seeing the cave at the house. It has been restored in the same manner as the house and is a must see! We appreciated Juan organizing a tour of the caves at the main square as well.

I had a nice time there and they looked after me well. Common spaces were comfortable and clean. Bedroom was also comfortable with desk for working if needed.

Featuring free WiFi, Colors Flat & Rooms is in the heart of the Old Town of Valencia, in Barrio del Carmen neighbourhood. Buses to Las Arenas Beach are 5 minutes’ walk away. The room was nice and the location is perfect. In the city center, not far from the metro or bus stop. The host was very accommodating and made me feel welcome. The room has a bathroom. Note however, that the room and bathroom are small, this was not a problem as I was there to sleep. Also there is an air conditioning. I could rend a bicycle for 5 euros to do longer distances which was very useful. This is a family business and they make the guests feel welcome and at home. I would come again here when I come to Valencia.

We especially enjoyed the home made orange marmalade. But the most important are people. One can feel good energy in this place.
