First of all, Loli is an excellent hostess that made everything easy. The place doesn't have a parking but it is possible to park at 3 min walking without cost. The location is very nice, just beside the Town Hall. The village is beautiful and quiet, but it has some bars and restaurants. The decoration of the place is charming (you feel part of the history) and comfortable at the same time. Everything is clean and you have everything you need. From the window we could enjoy the view of the bell tower and the swallows. The bed had sheets and blankets, that was a nice change regarding other accomodations we had visited lately in which only too warm duvets (edredón in Spanish) were available: in La Ruta del Tiempo we could use just sheets or sheets plus blankets in function of the temperature. Breakfast was very nice, and Loli explained us interesting things of the history and buildings of the village and gave us nice advice about excursions. We hope to come back!

Pintano is a very small atmospheric old hill town in the Spanish Pyrenees. It's basically in the middle of nowhere, but we made it a stop on our way back to Madrid from the French border near Jaca. A great choice because the inn is comfortable and the innkeeper (Jose) a really nice guy. He fed us an excellent 3 course meal, with wine, for 15 euros. A modest Spanish breakfast (coffee, toast and a packaged cake) is also included. A bit interesting to drive to the top of the town through the narrow alleys, but any passenger car can make it.

Perfect location, newish building, recently redeveloped, fair size room, brilliant shower, Brilliant staff, super friendly and very informative.

This simple hotel is located in the historic heart of the city, 100 metres from the San Salvador Cathedral. The central location in the old city is perfect with everything within walking distance. Hostal San Jorge is by the Goya Museum, close to both cathedrals and the Puente de Piedra (stone bridge) which has the best views. Staff are friendly, rooms are clean, and breakfast is served in a very nice little cafe across the road, a fine arrangement. The Teatro Principal (with a good varied program of performances) is just up the road and there are plenty of buses and trams from Plaza España if you need to get to the station or elsewhere.
