We'll definiely stay at Golden Goose for a night next time we fly to Finnish Lapland. Also, on Henna's recommendation, we had a Finnish buffet brunch as our first meal in Finland at a cafe-restaurant across the road from the guesthouse. Really delicious, a local gem, and a total bargain for us as we were travelling on a budget.

If you're looking for the ultimate Finnish getaway, with breathtaking nature, a dark-sky location for northern lights viewing, and a cozy, well-equipped chalet, Guest House Koskenkylä is the perfect choice. We couldn’t recommend it more!

Although the location was somewhat remote, there were forests and other places nearby to explore. The landlord even provided a small sled, which was adorable.
