France and Cyril are exceptional hosts. As I was travelling on a Sunday they offered an evening meal, a delicious chicken and ham croute with salad and home grown tomatoes, a cheese platter and then an ice cream of home grown raspberries! Breakfast was as good, including the home made brioche and plum jam. The room was beautifully decorated and very functional, with a small terrace outside and a second, covered, comfortable seating area. Secure parking on their property. I cannot recommend it too highly (and will definitely be staying again!) Thank you both!

Breakfast was cooked fresh for the four of us and it was excellent. It was delicious, and there was so much of it. We learned the story of perte de pain "Lost Bread" which we call French toast in the US. We had a champagne tasting the evening of our stay which was informative and delightful. Our hostess shared the story of their family champagnes which was such a treat.

Excellent stay, rooms were fantastic, staff was wonderful. They went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. They even made dinner reservations for us and it was a fantastic recommendation. We even had a nice tasting of all their champagnes. I would want to come back!

We are so pleased that we booked our stay at this exceptional Bed & Breakfast. Our room was gorgeous and comfortable. The breakfast was sensational everyday and far exceeded anything we have experienced on our travels! Just so delicious, nutritious, fresh and a great start to our day! Ohhhhh, and the home-made rhubarb jam is delectable. The bikes available for use are a wonderful touch that we enjoyed using daily to explore the area. Located in Chigny Les Roses, Domaine du Chalet is set in a house dating back to the 1860s sitting in a garden with ponds and a glasshouse. It features an indoor swimming pool and a sauna. Stayed in the attic family room for a second time it's absolutely lovely. Also had the set dinner here which is great. This is a lovely stop and worth splashing out o
