France and Cyril are exceptional hosts. As I was travelling on a Sunday they offered an evening meal, a delicious chicken and ham croute with salad and home grown tomatoes, a cheese platter and then an ice cream of home grown raspberries! Breakfast was as good, including the home made brioche and plum jam. The room was beautifully decorated and very functional, with a small terrace outside and a second, covered, comfortable seating area. Secure parking on their property. I cannot recommend it too highly (and will definitely be staying again!) Thank you both!

Breakfast was cooked fresh for the four of us and it was excellent. It was delicious, and there was so much of it. We learned the story of perte de pain "Lost Bread" which we call French toast in the US. We had a champagne tasting the evening of our stay which was informative and delightful. Our hostess shared the story of their family champagnes which was such a treat.

The room was spotlessly clean and the hosts were welcoming and friendly. There was everything we could possibly have needed in our rooms. They had thought of everything! The evening meal was delicious, and we loved the fact that we ate together with the other guests. We had a comfortable night, and the breakfast in the morning with baguette, croissants, homemade jams and even homemade yogurt was superb.

We have stayed in six different accommodations across fifteen days and this was our favourite so far. It's safe (an electric gate and two internal locked doors), clean, warm and comfortable. Location is excellent. Shower is excellent. Jane is a kind and patient host who understood we spoke no French and used a translator app to speak with us. She also brought us a delicious breakfast with many choices. Thank you, Jane!

Located in Chigny Les Roses, Domaine du Chalet is set in a house dating back to the 1860s sitting in a garden with ponds and a glasshouse. It features an indoor swimming pool and a sauna. The grounds and staff were amazing.
