The room was very nice with a comfortable bed and a very good shower . The location is very good because you are so close to the verdon gorge and Moustier st Marie. The breakfast was very good We highly recommend

Un cadre magnifique, au coeur du Verdon encontra-se em Castellane e tem um jardim, salão partilhado, terraço e acesso Wi-Fi gratuito em toda a propriedade. At the end of a narrow road, you find this gem of a B&B. The rooms are basic, but clean and you have to prepare your own meals in the common but lovely kitchen area. The very best of the stay is the hospitality of Pascal and his wife Nancy who runs the place, the gorgeous view and all the nice people that you meet at breakfast and evening meals. Just outside the doorstep there are lovely trails passning by that are worth trying out.

First of all, everyone who gets a chance must visit France. What a lovely country. In France, there is Moustiers Saint Marie and Gorge du Verdon in the Provence area. Heaven on Earth, both places. To be able to stay nearby, you look for a decent place. Sous des Chenes is one such value for money option! Breakfast wasn't included in our booking. The rest was a pleasure. Evguenia and Vladimir and their daughter Maria... and their gorgeous Husky Lyka were extremely warm and welcoming. The rented space is pretty and spic and span and very very comfortable, but the bedroom is a tad tiny. However, we had a car that came right up to the accommodation, so we only carried in the bare essentials. So all went well.

The apartment is located in the heart of an amazing landscape, far from noise and cities. The building itself is charming with its garden, view, and style of furniture. It's truly a gem for anyone who is looking for a bit of peace while being close to nature. The gite is well-equipped with everything you need for cooking, the beds are comfortable and everything was clean and prepared for our arrival. Getting in contact with the owner was really easy when we had any questions. Stargazing at night under a clear sky, having breakfast under the tree in the garden, waking up to birds chirping. Everything was really great. Tips for anyone wanting to book: plan your shopping since the house is at least 30 minutes away from a closest shop, and the last 5 minutes drive leading to the apartment is a dirt road just to keep in mind. And getting used to occasional donkey heehaw was fast after the first scare, haha:) We left after the third night planning when to return again here later:)
