I discovered this place from its glowing reviews on this site, and I am delighted to add my own rave review here. Le Couvent was a marvelous find. From its historic origins to its stunning views, it exceeded our expectations in every way. We enjoyed our walks around the town and the view from the hill above Le Couvent; we had a tasty dinner at the village's one restaurant; and then, after a blissful night's sleep in an elegantly decorated room, we feasted on a healthy and delicious breakfast. We will remember this special place and its warm and welcoming hosts for many years to come.

We stayed upstairs in the family room. It was very comfortable and we were made to feel part of the family, who live in a separate house on the property. Parking is easy and directly outside the door but be prepared for stairs. The pool house is very nice and the pool is a good size for doing laps. The daily continental breakfast was good. Aurélie and her husband are very sociable and gave us good tips for exploring the area.
