Had everything we needed. Host was very accommodating - our arrival time was later than we planned so I was concerned about causing any inconvenience, I messaged ahead as soon as I could and was very reassured.

The units at the inn come with a seating area, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a private bathroom with free toiletries and a shower. The Ancient Briton provides certain units with mountain views, and all rooms are fitted with a kettle. Stayed here after doing the 4 waterfalls walk. After a good 5 hours of walking we arrived at the Ancient Briton we were greeted by friendly helpful staff and shown to our room. Recently refurbished pub the room was very spacious and very clean and the beds very comfortable. We later went on to have a meal the food was very good all locally sourced meat etc and the deserts hand made. In the morning breakfast was prepared by emma the landlady and again was beyond expectation. Overall I was very impressed and would highly recommend the Ancient Briton

I wasn't sure I could make the date I sent originally and Christine was very accommodating. We received a warm welcome and a thorough check in. My friends and I were doing a hike up Pen y Fan leaving very early in the morning. Christine made us a packed lunch to go full of the essentials and more. That afternoon, I returned in a bit of a state, cold and wet. Christine offerred to dry some of my wet clothes and I had a lovely long warm shower. To top it off, we all had a made to order full english on Sunday morning. Christine is an amazing host and we enjoyed her company and her husband's in a beautiful environment. 10/10 - we would visit again! Let’s not forget the locally sourced food which was all locally sourced. Breakfast was delicious and supper beautifully presented and yummy scrumpy. Absolutely first class all the way
