Just a fantastic stay that had everything we were looking for: clean and comfortable room, very warm welcome and a personal touch as well as a brilliant and deliciously new prepared breakfast. Definitely recommend this absolute gem!

The Ancient Briton was one of the best B&Bs we stayed at during our 2.5-week trip through the UK. The staff, rooms, food, and overall atmosphere exceeded our expectations. The building is old but tastefully refurbished. While some stairways are narrow and dim (a bit of a challenge with luggage), the rooms were comfortable, well-equipped, and even featured unique plaster ceiling designs that gave them real character. The staff was outstanding. The woman who managed breakfast each morning (I wish I remembered her name) was especially wonderful—warm, attentive, and full of local tips. Thanks to her, we discovered the Red Kite Feeding Station in Llanddeusant, which turned out to be a highlight of our trip. The pub downstairs is lively and welcoming, with excellent food and a friendly mix of locals. It does get busy in the evenings, but even as a party of six, we were always accommodated.

Fantastic location with an amazing view of the lake. The room had character but was tastefully decorated. The entrance and staircase is incredible! Breakfast was top notch. It was a great stay.

Ty Helyg Guest House is located in Brecon. Free WiFi access is available and the Brecon Beacons National Park is less than 10 minutes' walk away. This was a wonderful place to stay with a comfortable room with everything you could want. A lot of thought had gone into providing a very high standard of extras, such as fresh milk and having hot chocolate available if desired. All this, combined with the friendliness and unobtrusive helpfulness of the host and her delicious breakfasts made for an unforgettable stay in Brecon.

Located in the heart of the Welsh market town of Abergavenny, Kings Arms Hotel offers bed and breakfast accommodation, a restaurant and free Wi-Fi throughout. The location is excellent, all the staff were friendly and helpful. There was a good selection for breakfast which was Cooked perfectly. The room was lovely and comfortable which was warm, great sleep
