At the guest house, every unit comes with bed linen and towels. Natalie and Tony were really nice, received us kindly and happily offered their help in case we needed anything. They were pleasant conversationalists. Breakfast was great and offered a choice of: cereal, fruit, pastries, eggs, toast, bacon, sausage, juice, coffee, tea. The room was spacious but cozy and the bed was comfortable.

It is situated 8.5 km from Abernethy Golf Club and provides room service. Beautiful house that was very clean and had all the modern amenities, but kept the charm of an old home. Shona was a wonderful host and she shared stories of the town and ideas for stops along our travels. Breakfast was delicious. Very close to the high street and the river Spey.

Located in Newtonmore and only 500 metres from Newtonmore Golf Club, Clune House B&B provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The property features inner courtyard and quiet street views, and is less than 1 km from Highland Folk Museum. Outdoor seating allows guests to enjoy the fresh air. Excellent property in all respects! The hosts greeted us warmly and showed us to room and fully explained shower and amenities. The property also has a lovely lounge that can be used in addition to the guest room. The breakfast was delicious - clearly made by a trained chef - the eggs Benedict’s and wild mushroom bruschetta were wonderful. There were also excellent extra luxury touches everywhere, sparkling water in the room, nice tea cakes/treats in the room, homemade Scottish tablet and then homemade chocolate/fudge upon departure. Everything was also new/recently redone so all fresh and bright. This was my absolute favorite B&B not just for this trip, but that we’ve ever stayed at.

Located 13 km from Boat of Garten Golf Club, Ardlogie Guest House offers accommodation in Aviemore with access to a hot tub. Providing free private parking, the 3-star guest house is 49 km from University of the Highlands and Islands, Inverness. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Very close to the train station and walking distance to Aviemore. Did not get the chance to use the hot tub, but the sauna was a nice bonus especially in December. The room was very comfortable and the hosts are wonderful! The breakfast is better than anything you would get at a hotel. I would stay here again next time I am in Aviemore.
