Lovely spacious room and wonderful en-suite bathroom with a big bathtub. Supplied full sized local toiletries which smelled amazing, which can be purchased from reception to take home. Bed was very big and very comfortable. A Continental breakfast was delivered every morning with a variety of fruits, yoghurt and granola and pastry with butter and jams as well as fresh fruit juice. Very lovely selection and enjoyed having breakfast in bed each morning. The location is perfect, lots of local great pubs and restaurants within a few minutes walking distance and great for walking to all the big attractions (within 15 minutes)

Em Kirkby Lonsdale, a cerca de 28 km de Trough of Bowland, Red Dragon Inn tem um bar, quartos não fumador e acesso Wi-Fi gratuito. Such a lovely cosy, comfortable and dog friendly place. The staff (Sean and Helen) were exceptionally kind and helpful. I was travelling with my brand new puppy and they made it so much easier for me. Can’t recommend this property enough and we will definitely be back.

A beautiful quick stop over stay at Open Acres before an early morning flight. I wish we could have stayed longer, the setting was beautiful, the room was lovely and clean. My kids loved seeing the horses. Ben was welcoming and sorted transfer to the airport for the early hours. Would definitely return.

WE were greeted by really friendly staff at the bar, who quickly found details of our reservation and took us to our rooms. We ate in the restaurant, which offered nicely presented food at a decent price. Our steaks were cooked very well and served alongside proper chips. The team here works well together and the staff were all really helpful, pointing out historical details about the region. Our rooms were very comfortable with good facilities (tea and coffee) and were surprisingly quiet (this being a Saturday night). Our breakfasts were very good (eggs Benedict) and served quickly. Plentiful car parking.

Close to the beach. Great design, bath and hot water, a garden, a sun room, even a tv with netflix, and there is a high chair and a travel cot in addition to extra beds. Just very smart

What a great location; so glad we found it. This is a house in an otherwise closed section of the beautiful Chichester cathedral district, with full view of the cathedral through the window. Check-in was through individual and time-restricted codes for front door and room, and worked well (though we were a bit apprehensive, as there seemed to be nobody available on-site). The house is stunning; a guest house otherwise used for conferences with a generous two-story entrance hall and beautiful wood finishes (loved the heavy wood front door). The rooms are clean, well-appointed and the amenities excellent - the renovation kept the original simple decor. Outside there is almost no car traffic, and you arrive by driving through a medieval gate and park at an assigned space right outside the front door. At night you don't realize that you are in a town; its so quiet. Everything is in walking distance, and during the day you can enter the cathedral cloisters through a side portal. The beautiful Bishop's Garden is just around the corner, as are the Roman walls. No breakfast provided, but there is a coffeemaker in the room and several restaurants just around the corner (through the gate, as it were), including several breakfast place (we had a great breakfast at Trading Post Coffee Roasters).
