Wonderful reception from Barbara, Room lovely and warm, clean with excellent facilities. Book the Oak Tree Inn for a wonderful dining experience, its a brisk 5min walk from Birchwood.

On the edge of Loch Lomond and a 30-minute drive from Glasgow and its airport, this 4-star guest house has hearty Scottish breakfasts and free Wi-Fi. The room was very cozy, spacious, warm, clean and the most comfortable bed! Breakfast was excellent. Much better experience than any hotels we've visited so far. Highly recommended.

Located in the heart of the Loch Lomond National Park in the village of Arrochar, Lochside Guest House offers a traditional Scottish or continental breakfast as well as beautifully decorated bedrooms... We had a room with a beautiful view of the lake. The room was comfy and clean and we had our own big bathroom. We have been served a traditional cooked breakfast (you could also choose vegetarian options). We also had a great dinner at the pub that's right next door. We really enjoyed our stay, thanks so much!

The location is perfect near by the train station, the type of room selected is enough for a family, the place is very quite and nice, there is play ground for the kids inside & outside with a lot of option. The owner of the place is very hospitable.

The host was welcoming from the outset. It was easy to find with free parking directly opposite. Room was clean, cosy and had all I required. There was a lot to see and do on the doorstep which the host was happy to tell me about. I didn't require it but is great guests have access to a little kitchen where guests could cook, warm food, eat etc. Paid breakfast in the morning was great I highly recommend the place.

Just exactly what we needed to rest from our long walk. Comfortable bed with good pillow and linens. Cute restaurant across the way for dinner and breakfast. The host met us and showed us to our room, which was very nice.
