Located in the heart of the Loch Lomond National Park in the village of Arrochar, Lochside Guest House offers a traditional Scottish or continental breakfast as well as beautifully decorated bedrooms... We had a room with a beautiful view of the lake. The room was comfy and clean and we had our own big bathroom. We have been served a traditional cooked breakfast (you could also choose vegetarian options). We also had a great dinner at the pub that's right next door. We really enjoyed our stay, thanks so much!

The location is perfect near by the train station, the type of room selected is enough for a family, the place is very quite and nice, there is play ground for the kids inside & outside with a lot of option. The owner of the place is very hospitable.

The Lady who welcomed us was super nice and let us even 2 hours bevore check-in time in. The room was very comfortable and the shower was very modern. Also it‘s a 1 min walk away from the bus station. Everything was perfect!

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Glenfern Guest House and a separate Cottage with its own private hot tub & Cottage offers accommodation in Balloch. Warm, cosy and so well equipped. Literally had everything you could think of including tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits, milk, laundry powder, dish washer tablet, washing up liquid, dish cloths, cooking oil etc. The hot tub was an absolute dream and the fairly lights just made it even better.

Room was clean and nicely decorated. The manager was wonderful and even arrived minutes later to resolve an issue with an overhead light that would not turn off. The shower was great with lots of water pressure and soap provided. The location is right off the West Highlands Way trail which was so nice for the walk. It is right on the water which is just beautiful. It’s a short walk across the parking lot to the Clansman Pub and Restaurant. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast here and the staff were friendly and attentive.
