He gave us a map and several tips about the city, as well as coffee and cookies while we waited for the room to be ready. Every day, there were brownie-like sweets at reception, and in the room they replenished a bottle of water and a delicious chocolate daily. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and stocked with toiletries, and the shower worked very well (it was large, and the temperature control was excellent). The hotel is well located—25 minutes on foot from Princes Street, with a bus stop just a few steps away. Highly recommended.

This was a wonrderful stay in a beautiful house. Our room was lovely, it had all the amenities. We got more water delivered into the room every day. There is no breakfast per se, but there is a possibility to Easy bustrip to city cetnre. All in all the possibility to travel within the city from 4 Friends House is great. Also lovely walking path (The Water of Leith pathway) along the river is just a couple of minutes walk away. Super friendly staff. I forgot my book into the room and they delivered it to me to where I had gotten after check out!! Great communication through out. Thank you Lukas & Silvia!!

At the guest house, all units are allergy-free. Alia, the host, made everything possible to make my stay as comfortable as possible and was always available and ready to provide anything in addition I needed. I was staying in the single room with external bathroom which was just fine for what was needed. I was staying 11 nights and even for such a long stay the room was comfortable and sufficient. The room had a view on the back garden and it was quiet. The location of the guest house is also convenient, with several bus options to reach city center in 20-30 min. The nearby shopping mall is also very convenient.
