It was clean, well-equipped with plenty of amenities, and the bed was very comfortable. The meals at the pub, as well as breakfast, were warm and delicious. I highly recommend this hotel.

The property and room were spotlessly clean and room was spacious, light and airy. There was a decent size bathroom with shower in the room I had Close by and within walking distance to local shops and tram/bus services. I had an amazing breakfast; plenty to choose from to eat and drink, as well as a cooked English breakfast. Thank you for your lovely hospitality.

Very comfortable room and beds in a great location! The hosts were very helpful and welcoming. It is obvious they love hosting and think of all the details to make your stay comfortable. At The Shoulder of Mutton each room comes with a wardrobe and a flat-screen TV. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating and a great place for staying with a dog. The breakfasts were lovely, nicely cooked and we all enjoyed an evening meal. I am coeliac but I had plenty of choice including a lovely homemade gluten free lasagna and chips, cooked in a separate fryer, a real treat! (We actually stayed for three nights, not one as it says on my review form).
