It has free parking and retains many original features, such as open fireplaces and wooden sash windows. Excellent room, exceptionally clean and a wonderful reception. Staff were superb, helping with dinner recommendations. Their attention to detail shows throughout the property and their garden.

Its à la carte restaurant has a charming modern glass and timber frontage. The rooms were beautifully renovated. So comfortable and plenty of space. Great location on the waterfront of quaint Anstruther. Breakfast was lovely the next morning too. Our favorite place on our two week trip to Scotland.

The rooms are simple but comfortable, and the restaurant and bar are cosy and elegant. Refresh with a Highland real ale form the local Loch Ness Brewery after a day on The Great Glen Way. Everything, the place is perfect, staff are excellent and the food is amazing.

Lakeview Guest House is located on the seafront in Stranraer, 200 metres from Stranraer Beach. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the guest house free of charge. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. I love everything about the room. I couldn’t get it more out for the costs i paid. I got two very soft beds( used one for my clothes😅). The room was always clean and new towels on the rack. On the night stand were bottles of whiskey and gin and two glasses, free to drink. Also kettle for use to make morning coffee or tea! Freshly prepared breakfast. You choose what you will eat for breakfast next morning.
