Being tucked away with just a couple of horses for neighbours, in a stylish and immaculately clean studio, a stones throw from the heathland was perfect. We were asked about dietary requirements in advance and just hoped we might get some nondairy milk, we got so much more - mushrooms, bread, jam, marmite, plant based butter (not marg), cereal, granola, berries, orange juice, tea and coffee and all good quality (Waitrose). Honestly excellent :)

The location outside of Winchester in the sweet village of Easton was perfect for us as well - it took less than an hour to make it to Terminal 5 at Heathrow. Thanks for everything!

The cabin was beautifully styled and was light and airy. A lovely big comfy bed, good facilities and in a secluded and peaceful setting next to the main house. Good communications beforehand with Debbie and a really delicious breakfast of warm pastries, yogurt, granola, fresh fruit etc was waiting for us on the doorstep in the morning. We originally planned to leave first thing in the morning to travel on to friends in the West Country but ended up delaying our journey by a couple of hours as it was so lovely being in the cabin!

Staff was more than happy to share the history of the mill. The rooms were clean, well appointed and even had conditioner in the shower (this never happens). The included breakfast was AMAZING! Each space in this historic building has been beautifully decorated. There are loads of nice extra touches; gifts for your dog along with a Polaroid camera to take pictures for the pet guest book, a beautiful outdoor covered fire lounge area, well maintained gardens. The dining and indoor spaces are lovely. Very good breakfast. The rooms are spacious, comfortable beds, bathrooms are gorgeous with high end soaps and products. There is a great selection of teas. Wish we could have stayed longer!!
