Lots of homely features including ornaments and picture and plaques with good life motos. christmas decorations too. the shower was high tech and shower also had retro deco and wares. the owners also came to our aid during storm Darah power cut providing candles and lanterns which was lovely, adding to our excellent adventure

Abbeyfield Lodge is set in Eaglescliffe, 2 km from Yarm. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property and free private parking is available on site. Each room comes with a smart flat-screen TV. Have been visiting friends in Yarm for many years and have stayed in a variety of lodging types. This is the best out of all of the places we have ever stayed. It is impeccably clean, modern, very well appointed and the staff could not be nicer. It is located in a quiet setting and is incredibly comfortable. Would highly recommend this property if you are staying anywhere in the area.

With a central location for Staithes, Whitby, Saltburn-by-the-Sea and the Yorkshire Moors, Moonfleet Boutique Hotel is set in a renovated Grade II listed manor house in Skinningrove. A warm and comfotable place to stay and explore the Yorkshire coast from. We enjoyed ourhome cooked breakfast and the conversations we had with our host .

After trying to find a spek of dirt on the carpet throughout the premises..I couldn't! The host was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. He even had special k for my son. The breakfast was 2nd to none. The process of checking in/out couldn't have been any easier. The shower was one of the best i ever had. TV and WiFi was top notch. It's not that often I feel obliged to tip, but I did on this occasion. Highly recommended for anyone looking for value for money.
