The owner showed up and drived us to his guest house. Actually the house is at the upper side of the village and the drive way is much better and easy to go. The day after, my friend had a leg bone broken, again the owner came to meet us at the glacier and arranged the ambulance and rescuers. He's so genuine and did everything for us. We are deeply moved by his kind support. BTW, the house is neat with a kitchen, the food his mother made is great. Its location is a plus, just a few metres away from the church where you'll have a great view of the sunset. We definitely will choose to stay here again.

Very nice hostess, she took care of us like her own family. Delicious and large homemade breakfast with a wide selection, from which we also made a snack for the trek. However, when the hostess found out that we were going on a long hike in the mountains, she packed another snack for us and brought it to the room. There is a large garden and two dogs, one of whom just had puppies. They are very cuddly. Beautiful view from the balcony. She also did our laundry. There is the possibility to make tea and coffee at any time during the day for free.

The hosts are beyond welcome, the hostess cooked a delicious dinner and served home wine (the orange wine is a masterpiece, bought a bottle for my dad). At night you see a sky full of stars and in the morning you wake up to 🐓“singing” We decided to stay here again when driving from Svanetia.

The beds and bed linen were very comfortable. The owner and staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony to watch the sunset. There were no glasses or cups in the room but these were supplied happily when requested. The breakfast was absolutely excellent, delicious and varied slightly each day. It was a very welcoming and comfortable stay in Mestia. If we are lucky enough to return to Mestia one day, we will definitely stay at Galash-R again.
