We stayed there from the 13th to the 15th of June and I can’t recommend this place enough. Everything about it was perfect. The location is unbeatable - tucked away on a quiet and charming street, yet just steps away from everything you might need: shops, restaurants, bars. The room itself was immaculately clean and incredibly well-equipped with an ironing board, a coffee machine with complimentary Nespresso capsules and a blow dryer. Upon arrival, we found a bottle of cold water waiting in the fridge, along with juice, biscuits, and jam. They had also provided a small bottle of raki with two little shot glasses. Self check-in was incredibly easy. If you’re considering booking, I highly recommend choosing the double room with patio. It comes with its own private entrance, a table and two chairs for relaxing outside, and even a drying rack for wet swimsuits. A special thank you to Maria at reception. I had been looking for a safety pin and she went above and beyond, managing to find me an entire set in two different sizes. The stay was truly exceptional from start to finish.

We fot everything in our room start with microwave/big refrigerator/oven/dtove/ washing machine, even small cabinet of pharmacy stuff and first aid. We did not feel unwelcome or uncomfortable for a single moment. all were made with so much love and attention that nothing deprives the joy of the calmness of the relaxation of the beauty! We stayed 20 days in Crete, the hospitality we experienced here was nowhere to be found to such an extent, nor the balance of materials and the authentic traditional architecture and decoration! Extending our stay was an unexpected gift that we give to us! Our return is a promise to ourselves! Staying at Sclopa Laographico is an experience of a lifetime! Thank you Marie! Thanks for all !!

Peaceful and relax place Place not too busy for us - the swimming pool is clean The manager has welcomed us kindly and she is really nice, always smiling and helping you if you have any questions. We appreciated her attention and she also offered a lil raki at the end of our trip. Not too far from any services if you need, 10mtes walk to Malia city center. I would recommend the place if you wanna chill out. Dinner and breakfast are ok, you’ve got choices and plates are well-served.

We stayed here with my mom for one night, and it completely exceeded our expectations. The village itself is quiet and charming, set in the mountains, and the whole experience—from the hotel to the taverna and the wonderful host—was just perfect. From the start, we felt very welcomed. We were helped with our luggage to the third floor, and it felt like we were given one of the best rooms, with a stunning view of the mountains. The room was spacious, beautifully renovated, with elegant furniture and thoughtful design—it was clear a lot of care went into creating such a comfortable space. Everything was spotless, fresh, and bright, from the bedroom to the bathroom. We also ate at the taverna that belongs to the hotel, and the food was absolutely delicious. The owner is such a kind, helpful person—he gave us great advice on routes and places to visit, and it was truly a pleasure to meet him. We loved everything about our stay and honestly didn’t want to leave.

Excellent location right in the old town, near the Venetian port, but in a very quiet street. Large and bright room, with all the amenities you need. The owners are very nice and always willing to help. We booked a parking spot with them, which turned out to be very convenient.
