The guesthouse was wonderful. The location is amazing, right in the center of Olympia. It's very close to both the archaeological site and great restaurants. The view from the balcony is wonderful and there is plenty of parking in front of the hotel for those arriving by car. The breakfast had a nice spread and the staff was incredibly helpful.

Located 200 metres from The monastery of Mega Spilaio, 25 km from Chelmos-Vouraikos National Park and 48 km from Lake Tsivlou, 1909 Guesthouse provides accommodation set in Kalavrita. Featuring a tour desk, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. I am hiking the Peloponnese way. I was thrilled to find accommodations on my route. The guest house above the monastery is a beautiful building. My room was very comfortable.

Truthfully the shower combined with the reasonable price, excellent location and gracious host is enough to recommend a stay in Olympia just for the welcome rest during busy travel (even if you aren't interested in the amazing sites!)
