The hotel is a fully renovated traditional house in the old part of the town just on the shore of the lake. It is cozy, comfortable and very very beautiful. You feel like you are back in time but you have all the conveniences of the modern world. The breakfast was excellent and the staff and the owner very kind, nice, friendly and helpful ! I definitely recommend!

The room was big, heating worked like a charm, the bathroom was super nice and it had a few commodities extra, such as kettle, tea and coffee. Manager was kind enough to remove his own vehicle so we could park, which I greatly appreciated.

Wonderful, cozy guesthouse with traditional wood and stone architecture. The room was very clean, all necessary amenities were provided and the view from the corner bedroom was breathtaking upon waking in the morning! Breakfast was very tasty and served by the very friendly and polite hosts. Highly recommend!

Located in the town of Kastoria, Filoxenia offers elegantly appointed rooms with balconies enjoying panoramic views of the city and the lake. The Byzantine Museum lies within a short walk. Perfect break. Superb lake views from both the room and the gardens. The staff were very helpful. Excellent breakfast.
