He took our luggage up and down type stairs, prepared great breakfasts and gave good advice. He made our trip so special

The room was big, heating worked like a charm, the bathroom was super nice and it had a few commodities extra, such as kettle, tea and coffee. Manager was kind enough to remove his own vehicle so we could park, which I greatly appreciated.

Above all, tranquility and a structure with curated architecture, where everything is in the right place. We enjoyed the hospitality and communication with the owners. We greatly appreciated their kindness and service. We will come back again and we highly recommend this hotel.

We have been in to many places in the Greece, but this is one of the most beautiful and amazing places!!! There are no words to describe this beauty! We had a great time Didn't want to leave amazing old house , large comfortable rooms, balcony with a magnificent view of the lake . Very tasty breakfast. We highly recommend this place, where you can relax and have a great time

Located in the town of Kastoria, Filoxenia offers elegantly appointed rooms with balconies enjoying panoramic views of the city and the lake. The Byzantine Museum lies within a short walk. Wonderful place. Quiet, scenic. Host was wonderful and the breakfast was great! Could have stayed here a couple of weeks...no months if only we had the time. Beds were a little harder then we are used to but we are old softies anyway.

Outstanding hospitality from the owners! They really couldn’t have made our stay any better. At night, we enjoyed the cozy atmosphere downstairs in the hotel’s living room, where there was a fireplace, an open bar offering everything from coffee and tea to cocktails, and a wide variety of games to play. It was the perfect way to unwind and relax!
