This boutique hotel was magnificent. It is located just by the lake. Although there is no private parking, there is plenty on the street in front. It is a new hotel, in an old renovated house. The owners gave much attention to details. For example, there is a laptop computer in the room, for the guests use. Something you don’t find anywhere else. It is clean, pleasant and welcoming. Kastoria is a small town, on a beautiful lake. A place worth visiting.

The room was very clean, all necessary amenities were provided and the view from the corner bedroom was breathtaking upon waking in the morning! Located in the town of Kastoria, Filoxenia offers elegantly appointed rooms with balconies enjoying panoramic views of the city and the lake. The Byzantine Museum lies within a short walk. The room had an amazing view to the lake. It was clean and neat. The staff was very polite and helpful and they seemed to care a lot about the guests comfort. Perfect if you want to spend some quite and relaxing time.

At night, we enjoyed the cozy atmosphere downstairs in the hotel’s living room, where there was a fireplace, an open bar offering everything from coffee and tea to cocktails, and a wide variety of games to play. It was the perfect way to unwind and relax!
