We are two couples traveling together. Damiano was a treasure of knowledge about the area and a wonderful host! He even helped us look up ferry info and recommended a great taverna two doors over. We were comfortable and felt at home. Loved it!

Located at the foot of Mount Taygetos, in scenic Mystras Town, the traditionally built Mystras Inn features a stone-paved courtyard and a restaurant. It offers free Wi-Fi and air-conditioned rooms with a balcony or patio. Rooms were beautiful, great value for money, 10 mins from Sparti, lovely location. Staff/owners were very friendly and helpful. Recommended!

Set amidst lush greenery, at an altitude of 600 metres, the traditionally built Guesthouse Mazaraki is situated close to the picturesque village of Mystras, offering views of the Byzantine castle of Mystras and the city of Sparta, or western views of Mount Taygetos. An outdoor pool is provided, while a wine bar “Corfes” with selected Greek and local wine labels is featured on the ground floor. A library and board games are also available. The guest house has an electric vehicle charging station Everything!! Room, view, breakfast, location, staff. Everything! We regret we didn't book for 2 nights.

Beautifully restored Pension Dafni is located in Nafplio’s Old Town, underneath Palamidi Fortress, 200 metres from Arvanitia Beach. It has a snack bar and offers tastefully decorated rooms with bright-coloured walls. Sweet people. Great location. Amazing breakfast. Felt at home.

Occupying a traditional stone mansion with wonderful views of the surrounding area, Bacchus is a charming and luxurious pension 3 km from Ancient Olympia.

Bacchus is located in the picturesque village of Ancient Pissa. Its garden, large terraces and swimming pool area are ideal for relaxation and fun. A 10 is not enough to describe our experience in Bacchus. The inn has an amazing view (great sunset view too!) and a very cozy, rustic feel to it, aided by the basis on stone and wood. The room was spacious, spotless and fully outfitted with all the usual hotel equipment. All furniture and appliances were in great condition. The dining area is very pretty and the breakfast selection was varied and delicious all around. The restaurant has great food and reasonable prices. The pool is another highlight. It definitely is the cleanest one I've ever been to and is very beautifully decorated. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, they made us feel right at home from the very first second. I'll also have to praise Bacchus for being careful about conserving water and energy (e.g. 2 modes for flushing water, A/C goes on standby when windows are open). All in all, if you are in the area, this is the place to stay, no questions asked. We are already planning our next visit!

Set in Nafplio and within 800 metres of Arvanitia Beach, Pension 2Be has a bar, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. The property is around 500 metres from Akronafplia Castle, 1.3 km from Bourtzi and 9 km from Timenos Beach. Some units at the property feature a balcony with a city view. I liked EVERYTHING about this place. It is beautiful, exactly like in the pictures. The room was very spacy and beautifully designed. The location is perfect: in the heart of the old city and 50m from the port free parking. Breakfast was super tasty and rich. Owner and staff very welcoming.

Located within 500 metres of Arvanitia Beach and 200 metres of Archaeological Museum of Nafplion, 45House provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Nafplio. The property has inner courtyard and quiet street views, and is 300 metres from Nafplio Syntagma Square. The guest house features family rooms. Great communication, modern and clean, delicious breakfast. We visited during off season, so parking was easy, but could be hard during busy season. Quiet street but close to town center. Comfortable bed, great shower, super friendly hostess (Anathanasia). Balcony doesn't really have much of a view, but you can see a sliver of the harbor. One of the nicest places we've stayed in Europe. Don't hesitate to book it
