A family run operation with Danielle as host. First of all, the property is beautiful in a fantastic location for easy access to park (only 15 min walk from room or 2 min by car). The room was immaculate, large and very comfortable. The bathroom was also nice size with the best shower! The hi-light of stay was meeting Danielle! She is very kind and has a lot of information to share about the area. Danielle was very helpful pre trip answering my questions in a timely manner. Now the food. Breakfast and dinner is available for purchase. Come hungry! The food is fresh products and a lot of it. One night we had meat platter which could have served six and the next night trout. The trout some of the best I’ve ever had. Also, I’m celiac and they worked with my dietary needs. This was a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend.

The Guesthouse Sara is located in Grabovac, about 6 km from the Plitvice Lakes National Park. It features a spacious terrace. We stayed for one day. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The apartment was very beautiful. Breakfast had a bit of everything. Approximately 8 km from Plitvice (Entrance 1) and 20 km from Rastoke. If we come back, we will definitely stay longer.
