Lovely accommodation, friendly and helpful owner showed us everything we needed during our stay. Rooms are not huge but have all modern amenities you can think of; not far from shore of lake Balaton. We especially loved the stylish interior of the place and the shared terrace we sat on enjoying the warm evening. Aircon in the rooms is well located and works perfectly, so glad we had it travelling in July heat. The price was reasonable too for what you got.

Maison Bagatell is a hidden gem in a variety of homes to stay at Badacsony. Everything is just exceptional about this place, imagine a mix of Italian Toscana and French Provence with a Hungarian touch. We enjoyed everything about the place, the renovated villa provides breathtaking views from the terrace both in the morning and in the sunset. You can enjoy the sunshine in the larger backyard green zone. The breakfast options were nice. The location of the villa allows you to enjoy a short hike up to the mountain and of course to explore the local vineyards of Badacsony. The hosts are very nice, welcoming and pleasant to talk to. We will definitely be back if we have a chance.

Upon entering the property, you are immediately greeted with a VIEW. It looks exactly as photographed - in fact, the photos don't do it justice. The home is clean, well equipped with everything you may need in the kitchen and bathrooms. The host was extremely friendly and helpful leading up to our stay and during. The home is both modern but also has that Balaton feel. The way they decorated and updated the home reflects the colors of the lake and surrounding nature. It was extremely quiet, and relaxing. I truly couldn't stop taking photos from the balcony. It's a remarkable home and view - and close to many wineries, beaches and restaurants. We walked to the owner's winery easily - great wine too! Be sure to order some before you check-in and they will have it chilled for you upon arrival! What a treat!
