I had a truly pleasant 5-day stay at Rumah Baris Ubud. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, kind, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Their warm hospitality really made a difference. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The bed was cozy, and I especially loved the added touch of having a sofa and chairs out on the patio—it was the perfect spot to unwind after a full day of exploring. One of the best surprises was the daily activities they offered for guests. These were free, fun, and a great way to experience a bit more of the local culture or meet other travelers. Location-wise, it's perfect. Just a short walking distance from Ubud Market and many of the main attractions. There are also plenty of restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores nearby, making everything super convenient. Overall, I had a fantastic time and would definitely book this place again on my next visit to Ubud. Highly recommend!

Cempaka was a really nice experience for us. It is situated slightly north of the busy center of Ubud, making it a great base for sightseeing. The room was stylish & cozy, and the view on the swimming pool was nice. The swimming pool itself was lovely too! A great place to come back to after a day trip or activity in Ubud center. The laundry service exceeded all expectations and the driver they recommended was really nice as well. We asked a lot of questions and learnt a lot during the drive. Pak Kadek was a splendid host. He was very considerate and helpful with all the questions we had. We had the luck that a special ceremony was taking place in the nearby temple while we were there. Pak Kadek brought us along and guided us through the experience and Ibu Niwayan made sure we dressed respectable & traditional. We feel very lucky and grateful for that experience and their hospitality. This place is definitely recommended! Lastly: ask accommodations and drivers directly instead of through platforms if you can. A driver can recommend an accommodation and vice versa. It makes a big difference for them and their community.

I thoroughly enjoyed my week-long stay at Kaki Uma Villa. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel like part of the family. It’s a fantastic location if you’re seeking a stay amidst the paddy fields. The private pool overlooking the fields is absolutely stunning and wonderfully refreshing. A special thank you to Nadia and Veera Jaya for their assistance throughout my stay and for helping me to learn more about the wonderful Balinese culture.

Comfortable room with a great balcony and and a beautiful view. Healthy delicious breakfast with 4 options served on the balcony. Adi, the hostel owner, was the best. He did all he could to make everything perfect for us. Thanks a lot!

Tut Winten Villa is a cozy and comfortable place—not too big, but with a great atmosphere. The layout with a pool in the center and rooms surrounding it created such a relaxing vibe, both in the morning and evening when the pool was beautifully lit. Everything was incredibly clean, with staff constantly making sure the place was spotless (even removing leaves from the pool!). The service was outstanding—everyone was so kind and always ready to help. When we had an early tour (departure at 7:45 AM, but breakfast started at 8), they prepared a delicious takeaway breakfast for us. The regular breakfast menu offers around seven freshly made dishes, all beautifully presented and tasty. The receptionists were always smiling, and the restaurant staff were incredibly polite and friendly :) Also, just a short walk from the hotel, there's the amazing Bebek Tepi Sawah restaurant, where you can try delicious Indonesian food. The hotel itself offers European dishes like burgers and pasta for lunch and dinner. And one more highlight—you can even order a Balinese massage to your room, which makes the stay even more relaxing! I can truly recommend this place to everyone :)
