If you are planning to do the Bromo walking tour and other guests like to join, you share a car (and the cost of it)... or not if you prefer to go alone. We had the chance to share cars for the Bromo walking tour and for the Tumpak Sewu waterfall and could cut the cost and have a good time with fellow travellers. Rani and Oussama offer solutions for most of your travelling problems: transportation to Maison Manendra from Malang, Bromo Tour without other people around you, tour to Tumpak Sewu with a fantastic guide, taxi to Surabaya... and many more. Rani and Oussama travel a lot in and out of Indonesia and are well aware of what you need during your Java trip. If you are looking for luxury, it is not the place for you. As for myself, I got far more than I expected. Merci Rani et Oussama, c'était absolument super!

Mountain Ecolodge localiza-se em Gubukklakah, a 23 km de Velodrome Malang e a 24 km de Bentoel Museum. Such a beautiful setting, Mountain Ecolodge was a perfect place to base myself for visiting Bromo. Mary the host is so kind and I really enjoyed my time here. Super peaceful and an amazing view of the landscape ❤️

I arrived in the middle of the night because my bus was late but the host waited for me and even prepared breakfast for me. Great place also to do Ijen, they organize it for you !

The property has stunning grounds and garden, Balinese style, with many hidden corners and pavilions where you can relax. A small babbling brook borders the property so you have the relaxing sound of water all around. Thre is a also a pool which we didn't even try as we were so enchanted with the garden. The bungalow we had was richly decorated with gorgeous balinese textile curtains. What made this place truly special for us is the welcome and service Marc and Ericka (owners) gave us : they not only organized a Mt Ijen excursion for us but a fantastic massage by Aini. In the restaurant, son Ricco is a talented cook and the food was excellen... Best breakfast pancakes on and out of Bali!

The accomodation was cozy and beautiful, but the best part of this accomodation is the owners, they are absolutely amazing so helpful and kind. Putri helps you with everything you could ever want from books tours, transport, driver, etc. Thanks so much!!!

Thanks to our amazing host, we were able to walk up to Bromo and Mt. Batok just as we wanted, avoiding the crowds and groups. Davi was wonderful—he gave us the best tips to explore the area, and we enjoyed unforgettable hikes with stunning sunset and sunrise views. The room was comfortable, with a hot shower—everything we needed. We definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a more authentic experience. For meals, we had lunch and dinner on a beautiful terrace just a few minutes’ walk from the homestay.

Ni_Er Guesthouse by Mr.Tsabalala localiza-se em Panjunan, a 30 km de Parque Nacional de Bromo-Tengger-Semeru e a 32 km de Mount Lamongan. I had a great stay here thanks to Rohmat and Dimas who were very friendly and helpful. The guesthouse offers a transfer from/to the train station and tour to visit the Tumpak Sewu / Goa Tetes / Kapas Biru waterfalls. The room was clean and comfortable.

Watukarung Sackstone Guesthouse tem um jardim, área de praia privada, um salão partilhado e terraço em Kalak. I loved everything about this place. Everyone is family.

Maharani Homestay situa-se em Banyuwangi, a 19 km de Watu Dodol, e dispõe de acomodações com um jardim, estacionamento privado gratuito e um terraço. We loved our stay here. The accommodation is set in a beautiful garden, with comfortable king beds and a spacious bathroom. It was the perfect place to rest before our Ijen hike. The staff were so lovely and helpful, and we honestly wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend!
