I had a wonderful stay at this charming family-run hotel. The hospitality was warm and personal, and the home-cooked meals, especially dinner, were absolutely delicious. Rani went above and beyond to help us secure a last minute jeep booking to visit Mt Bromo, which we really appreciated. The location was perfect—quiet, cool, and peaceful, making it a great escape from the city. Plus, the hotel is equipped with Starlink WiFi, which was fast and reliable enough for me to get some work done during the trip. Highly recommended!

A great location in the midst of nature, detached from others. Great view from the room and from the terrace, fresh air. Located between Malang and Bromo, so it is very convenient to go from the ecolodge to the Bromo tour. Scooters can be only rented on Malang, better to take minumun 120cc if you want to travel around, for example, to Sewu waterfall. Gojek works, but in the evening there maybe problems to get one, get a car in advance or ask the owner. The owners btw are very very cool and helpful! Thank you for helping us out!!!! It was far enough from the main road to have a quiet night despite the unavoidable call for prayer at 4am. There are a few local restaurants close by. The owner welcomed us cheerily and gave us very good advice. He was arranging and let us keep the room until we came back from Bromo. The water was hot and the room was clean.

The guesthouse offers a transfer from/to the train station and tour to visit the Tumpak Sewu / Goa Tetes / Kapas Biru waterfalls. The room was clean and comfortable.
