I realized that the location didn't really suit me, but Debora and Jeremy went all the way to help me out! There's not really any restaurants in the countryside neighborhood and Debora offered to cook more of their own dinner, which was lovely! 😍🙏 Over all I had a lovely stay!

The rooms are clean and equipped with everything you need, including super comfortable beds! The jungle tours are also organized directly by the guesthouse, one at 6 a.m. and one at 4:30 p.m. We did both tours with Gian, who managed to find every animal we were hoping to see and explained so much about their way of life. Thank you so much, Gian, for this amazing experience! We also recommend taking a walk through the village down to the beach. Everyone was so kind to us and always wanted to strike up a conversation, which we really enjoyed. We will definitely keep recommending this guesthouse and are so glad we chose to stay here! Snorkelling and fishing can be enjoyed nearby, while a car rental service and a private beach area are also available on-site. Beautiful setting on the coast adjacent Bogani National Park; great for wildlife. For snorkelling, the house reef is in nice condition >30 m from shore. Our cottage was attractive, clean, well furnished, and equipped with plug-in fans. All food served to us was amazing, and a vegetarian diet was easily accommodated. The bird-tour, during which we visited the Batumangas Maleo hatchery, was a great experience. Klaus very kindly accompanied us during this entire trip to help us communicate with our guide. Klaus and family are amazing hosts, and we would wholeheartedly recommend Bogani Cottages to those looking to explore Bogani NP, or indeed passing between Manado and Gorontalo (it’s a great way to break up the journey, and really worth the visit!).
