Asim Paris Guesthouse & jungle trekking tem um jardim, área de praia privada, um terraço e restaurante em Bukit Lawang. Best place to stay in Bukit Lawang!! Beautiful location right on the river, surrounded by nature and beautiful views, a retreat from the busy-ness of town. It is only a short motorbike ride into town, and you can walk ~10 mins to get to an alfamart/indomaret. I did 2 days jungle trekking with Andi who was a great guide. We saw lots of orangutans and other wildlife, and he shared a lot of great information about the jungle. I went with a group and he was very attentive with the guests and everyone's different needs and comfort levels with the hiking. Dika, Dedek, and the rest of the family were so friendly and happy to answer any questions or help with anything, and make an amazing breakfast which is included. Andi arranged a car to and from the airport. Wifi was functional most of the time, which was helpful because I spent a lot of time working remotely in the restaurant. Bed in my room was very firm and comfortable, which is important to note because some different guesthouses where I've stayed have had very squishy, sinking beds. Bathroom has good showerhead water pressure, a western style toilet, and bidet. They provide toilet paper if needed. Towels also provided. Screens on windows prevent mosquitos from getting inside, and there is a fan inside the room for when it gets hot. Overall, a beautiful place to stay and a family business that makes you feel like family. Highly recommend!

A equipe da pousada é excelente, fizemos o tour de 3 dias e 2 noites com eles, e tivemos os melhores guias, Iwan e Rahmat. Uma das melhores experiências que tive, recomendo totalmente, e ideal estar na pousada principalmente o dia anterior ao início da trilha. O wifi funciona muito bem.

But most of all: The delightful hosts who will do anything in their power to make you feel as comfortable as possible and deliver the services that you may want or need. They are genuinely good people who really care about you, the community and also the environment. Tips: - Go have dinner with them at least once. Yuyun is a really good cook. And there is a future restaurant in the making! - Ask Borja for tips what to do around the island and where to get the best coffee. - Rent a scooter from the hosts to see the island. They are safe, well-maintained and helmets available. - Rent snorkel equipment from the hosts. (One of) the most beautiful snorkeling spot(s) is right in front of you. - If you want to go diving, make sure to enquire about it with Borja and Yuyun as they are both divemasters.

The owner arranged a Jungle tour for us and our guide Jonny did an awesome job! We saw a lot of orang Utans and a lot of other animals, he knew a lot about the animals and the jungle which was great! The food was also really good! Can’t recommend this place enough

Sumatra Cheeky Monkeys tem um jardim, salão partilhado, um terraço e restaurante em Bukit Lawang. As comodidades deste alojamento incluem um bar e comodidades para churrascos. I did the 2 day/1 night Trek. The 2 guides Rian and Santa were the best guides I’ve encountered anywhere in all my years of traveling. They were so kind, funny and thoughtful. The food on the trek was phenomenal and it really was a wonderful experience. The property is great, with a beautiful lush green garden.

Kupu Kupu Garden Guest House & Cafe está em frente à praia em Bukit Lawang e tem um jardim e um terraço. Cada quarto está equipado com varanda com vistas da montanha. We had the most amazing time at Kupu Kupu. The guesthouse is so beautiful, the rooms are very clean and well-designed and the food is incredible. With the jungle at the doorstep, we really enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watch the monkeys play in the trees - it felt like we were in paradise! After two nights at the guesthouse, we did a 3 day / 2 night jungle trek our guides Wanda and Juli, which was an incredible experience. Wanda has so much knowledge about the jungle and all the living beings in it - he had a story to tell about any animal or plant we found, we enjoyed our talks with him so much! Both guides took very good care of us and always made us feel safe and well! After rafting (fun!!!) back to Kupu Kupu on the last day of our trek, we stayed at the guesthouse for one more night to relax and process our experience 🌿 Special thanks to Arif for organising everything for us (helping us with the itinerary from the airport and onwards to our next destination, picking us up from the town and organising the jungle trek) and to Risky for making us feel right at home 🙏
