Our bungalow was spotless, the bed was inviting with clean white sheets. A quieter area in TukTuk. The staff was amazing, super friendly, helpful. The restaurant on spot is quite unique, healthy dishes, excellent breakfast, lots of fruits, salades, healthy bowls available. Great resto close to the guesthouse for dinner, Samuel restaurant... Amazing fried Toba fish.. Recommended by the owner/manager of HubTata... A real Schatzi as our friends called him😊

Asim Paris Guesthouse & jungle trekking tem um jardim, área de praia privada, um terraço e restaurante em Bukit Lawang. Best place to stay in Bukit Lawang!! Beautiful location right on the river, surrounded by nature and beautiful views, a retreat from the busy-ness of town. It is only a short motorbike ride into town, and you can walk ~10 mins to get to an alfamart/indomaret. I did 2 days jungle trekking with Andi who was a great guide. We saw lots of orangutans and other wildlife, and he shared a lot of great information about the jungle. I went with a group and he was very attentive with the guests and everyone's different needs and comfort levels with the hiking. Dika, Dedek, and the rest of the family were so friendly and happy to answer any questions or help with anything, and make an amazing breakfast which is included. Andi arranged a car to and from the airport. Wifi was functional most of the time, which was helpful because I spent a lot of time working remotely in the restaurant. Bed in my room was very firm and comfortable, which is important to note because some different guesthouses where I've stayed have had very squishy, sinking beds. Bathroom has good showerhead water pressure, a western style toilet, and bidet. They provide toilet paper if needed. Towels also provided. Screens on windows prevent mosquitos from getting inside, and there is a fan inside the room for when it gets hot. Overall, a beautiful place to stay and a family business that makes you feel like family. Highly recommend!

Sumatra Orangutan Discovery Villa tem um jardim, terraço, um restaurante e bar em Bukit Lawang. O acesso Wi-Fi gratuito e serviço de quartos estão disponíveis. Gotong Rotong bus station and convenience store are located about 10 to 15 mins away by foot. The quiet villa with nice ambience is tucked away from town. Padi fields just a few minutes walk from the villa. Tyson, Dedek and team are super friendly. Their dog Balu is a charm. They are able to organize trips to the jungle, Tangkahan, transport and etc. It's like a one-stop villa for everything. The room is of good size and bed is very comfortable. Restaurant in the villa serves good food. (One can always replenish drinking water in the restaurant.) There is no need to walk out for meals. In any case, not much choices available near the villa unless one goes to Bukit Lawang. Bukit Lawang town is 20 minutes walk from the villa walking pass local residences. If not, one can take a motorbike to the town. The jungle trek organized by Tyson comes with a friendly and knowledagble guide and assistant. Saw 2 orangutans during the trek and also a few monkeys. Trek is tough and it's goes uphill and downhill. One ought to be fairly fit. Highly recommend Sumatra Orangutan Discovery Villa.

Gino's Place - Guest House & Jungle Trekking localiza-se em Bukit Lawang e apresenta um jardim, terraço, restaurante e acesso Wi-Fi gratuito em toda a propriedade. We had a great two night stay! The room was spacious and the AC worked great. The staff were so kind and helpful. The food was delicious (we liked the curry best) and very reasonably priced. We also signed up for a one day tour with them and we had a great day with 5 orangutan sightings led by our guides Jojo and Aldi. One evening some local guys came by to hang out and play some music. It was great singing along and getting to know the people of Bukit Lawang! It was also great that this didn’t go on late into the night and we still went to bed at a very reasonable time.

The hosts, the staff, the quality of the accomodation, The position. Nothing was a problem. A place to truly do whatever you want with no worries whatsoever. Restaurant good with a beautiful view. Genuinely lovely, responsible and helpful owners. They were always there to help you.

Sumatra Cheeky Monkeys tem um jardim, salão partilhado, um terraço e restaurante em Bukit Lawang. As comodidades deste alojamento incluem um bar e comodidades para churrascos. From the first contact on everything was organized perfectly (transport from and to the airport, the trek, finding a group to treck with etc.). The staff is really nice, you feel like family there. They also invited me for dinner and we talked about many different things, like culture differences. I did a 2 day 1 night treck with Rian (Guide), Sarol (Assistant Guide) and Mawan (Chef). A very good experience with a lot of explanations and fun. The food was also delicious. You can see, that they have a lot of experience.

Very cozy place with a nice and quite atmosphere. A little walk to the juggle makes it super private place to stay. The staffs very friendly and speak fluent English.
