Quietly situated, Mountain View Guesthouse is an Irish Tourist Board approved family-run 4-star guest house. It features mature gardens, free Wi-Fi and free private parking, and is situated just 3 km from the village of Oughterard, ideally located for exploring Connemara and Galway city. Everything was just perfect - Patricia was the perfect host giving us lots of great information on where to get dinner, local spots to visit and just general banter! We had the best room in the place (imo). Breakfast was fabulous and i felt thoroughly spoilt!

Dun Ri Guest House serves both full Irish and lighter breakfast options. All are freshly prepared with locally sourced produce, homemade breads and preserves. Brilliant location, clean and comfortable, tasty breakfast and the owner was a gentleman and easy to chat to.

Apartments are self-catering (no meals included) and have separate entrances, comfortable living areas with TV and fireplace. Each bedroom has a private shower room with personal toiletries, towels etc. All bedrooms have good storage, excellent beds - fully dressed, tv, hairdryer etc. The fully equipped kitchens have cookers, microwave, dolce gusto coffee machine, all utensils etc and washer-dryers. On arrival you will find tea/coffee, fresh milk, juice, cereals, condiments and homemade brown bread and cake. We had a spacious, fully equipped apartment at our disposal. Upon arrival, a very kind lady welcomed us and showed us around, recommending nearby attractions. In the apartment, we had refreshments prepared for the first day, as well as umbrellas and other thoughtful touches that were a pleasant surprise. There are plenty of parking spaces available at the accommodation.

Great apartment and great hosts. Will definitely recommend.

Situated in Oughterard, in a historic building, 33 km from National University of Galway, Currarevagh House is a guest house with a garden and terrace. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the guest house free of charge. The guest house has a sauna and a 24-hour front desk. A delight. My idea of the perfect small hotel of charm.
