The bed and breakfast has family rooms. My husband and I stayed at Ben View during our time in Connemara. We could not have asked for a better accommodation! Everything was top notch - central location, amazing small & mighty team, family vibe while allowing us privacy, great decor and rooms, yummy breakfast, and all that for an extremely good price. Will recommend this lovely B&B to everyone visiting the Irish West Coast!

Quietly situated, Mountain View Guesthouse is an Irish Tourist Board approved family-run 4-star guest house. It features mature gardens, free Wi-Fi and free private parking, and is situated just 3 km from the village of Oughterard, ideally located for exploring Connemara and Galway city. Everything was just perfect - Patricia was the perfect host giving us lots of great information on where to get dinner, local spots to visit and just general banter! We had the best room in the place (imo). Breakfast was fabulous and i felt thoroughly spoilt!

Dun Ri Guest House serves both full Irish and lighter breakfast options. All are freshly prepared with locally sourced produce, homemade breads and preserves. Fantastic location 5 minutes from the main bus stop but very quiet. Michael was a great host (got us in touch with a fantastic taxi driver who took us to Omey Island and back for a reasonable price), the sitting room on the ground floor had tea and coffee and great selection of books and games. Breakfast was great! Truly the best experience as a base to explore Connemara. I have only superlatives to say.

Apartments are self-catering (no meals included) and have separate entrances, comfortable living areas with TV and fireplace. Each bedroom has a private shower room with personal toiletries, towels etc. All bedrooms have good storage, excellent beds - fully dressed, tv, hairdryer etc. The fully equipped kitchens have cookers, microwave, dolce gusto coffee machine, all utensils etc and washer-dryers. On arrival you will find tea/coffee, fresh milk, juice, cereals, condiments and homemade brown bread and cake. The B&B was a little apartment, equipped with absolutely everything needed for a short stay. It was perfectly organized, a fresh brown bread and a fruit cake made by the owner was a nice surprise on arrival. Very good location, you can walk to the town, at the same time local attractions like Sky Road Loop or Kylemore Abbey are easy to reach by car. Absolutely perfect place for a stay.

For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. The apartment is cosy, decorated with lovely furniture and items. We went during new year and they had a Christmas tree set up! The view from the apartment is amazing as it's located in the connemara national park. Donna was super friendly and helpful during our stay, giving us traveling tips and everything we needed. Great apartment and great hosts. Will definitely recommend.

Situated in Oughterard, in a historic building, 33 km from National University of Galway, Currarevagh House is a guest house with a garden and terrace. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the guest house free of charge. The guest house has a sauna and a 24-hour front desk. A delight. My idea of the perfect small hotel of charm. Brilliant food, a lovely setting, and a warm welcome by owner Henry.
