Housed in an 18th-century property and located beside a 13th century tower house, this historic building offers guests well-appointed guestrooms, many with original period features. Each room has a multi-channel TV, tea/coffee making facilities, complimentary WiFi, modern en-suite facilities and a hairdryer. Food was excellent, when checking in the member of staff was super helpful and booked us a table for the evening. I'm glad we did because the restaurant was busy even on a week night. Great location in center of town, easy to find and room was perfect. Staff couldn't have been more helpful, they even gave me a VIP pass for Kildare village (10% off voucher) Not far from Dublin, Food and drink was very fairly priced

The Dining Room serves traditional and continental breakfasts, which feature homemade chutneys, banana bread and scones. Afternoon tea can be taken in the elegant Drawing Room. The Staff was incredible, very friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautiful. Is very close to city center and amenities. Breakfast is served in a very fancy room. Lovely.

This family-run guest house has rooms with good-quality beds, mattress hygiene care and tea/coffee making facilities. There is also a comfortable sitting room for guests to relax in. Nice room in a lovely house, outside the city center yet close enough to walk or take a bus to the center. The property is in a pretty and quiet neighborhood. Hosts very very friendly and helpful. Despite arriving in the middle of the night due to flight delays, someone stayed up and waited for us to give us the keys to our rooms.

The shared lounge is spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. We didn't interact with staff in person but Rachel sent helpful instructions about the property and everything was clear. It is not easy to spot the entrance from the road, so use the Eircode provided.

From a last minute early check in to an upgrade of my booked room to offering a lift where they could and providing me with fans when I found the evenings a bit hot. Nothing was too much trouble. The place was immaculate. I know it’s said a lot but I really was a home away from home, only my home is rarely that tidy! I felt completely safe as a solo female traveller and can’t wait to return with my family and book out the place.

Sean is so friendly and accommodating. We went to the local pub owned by his brother for dinner and then breakfast was provided as well as things to make lunches for the next day of hiking. Sean also drove us to the trail the next day so we could continue on the Wicklow way.
