The Rooms At Firecastle is set in Kildare's market square, overlooking St Brigid's Cathedral. Stayed here before and have found it perfect both times, room and bathroom were absolutely spotless, bed was comfortable, room was modern. Seriously perfect. Would absolutely recommend, best rooms in kildare by a long shot.

From the location, to the facilities, to the food and the incredible staff our stay was outstanding. The staff was stellar in all ways. The accommodations were clean, beautiful, amazing. Breakfast, lunch and cream teas were excellent. We spent four days and truly did not want to leave!

Located next to the Aviva Stadium, in the leafy suburbs of Dublin’s Ballsbridge district, this beautiful Victorian house offers stylish bedrooms and a sumptuous breakfast menu. Eclellent hotel ! Great breakfast, with many choises and with very polite personel, we have asked to change our room due to some noises and they immediately accepted ! Our turk friend in the reception helped us a lot!

This beautiful Victorian Guest House is set in Dublin’s prestigious D4 district. It offers en-suite rooms with free Wi-Fi. I don't have enough adjectives to describe the place which was beyond my expectations for the guest house. It was the only time I wanted to rate the place positively before I left it. I mostly had interaction with Louis and Martina and brief talk with the owner the next morning of my arrival. The warmth and the welcomeness I received was incredible. Even though the property states the check in should be between 2-7 PM I arrived later and was greeted by Louis who not only explained to me about the city but also made me some tea with biscuits. I got really big room which Martina would clean so nicely everyday and change my coffee and tea. It was a very beautiful and clean room and I enjoyed it so much I did not want to leave it. What I really appreciated about the location is that it was not too close to the centre and after a long day of walking and interacting with people it was nice to have some quite time to yourself and because it is a big house there are not so many visitors so it always felt like I am coming back home after a hard day. It is close to all the facilities you need- direct busses to city centre and the airport (!), Tesco and a small market to buy some grocery food if you need, really good cafe that serves the best toasties and breakfast for a reasonable price (Happy Out) and some more if you like. In overall I recommend the place for solo travellers (especially who are a bit introverts like myself) and couples who want a nice get a way for the weekend.

Close to Everything and the place was Spotless. I would Highly Recommend Johnsville House to any visitor to Carlow Town. Magic !!!

Very lovely guest house with the kindest host. Very clean, big kitchen you can use and a separate dining room (which was great so you don’t bother other people). Our kids loved the back yard which had a small football court.

Coreen Guest House is a very comfortable family-run guesthouse that absolutely feels like home! Maria, the owner of the house is a very friendly person, who is experienced in running the guesthouse and makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. She offered us breakfast, although we didn´t even book it, which was really forthcoming! And, she even gave our 4-year old daughter a gift to play with and provided her grandchildren´s dollhouse, which our daughter loved a lot. Her daughter Nieve, who covered for Maria, when she wasn´t there, was really lovely too. They are all used to having people in their lovely house with beautiful garden views. The house is located in a nice and safe neighbourhood, about 10-15 minutes walk from the city center. It is about 5 minutes walk from the town park, where you find quite and green as well as a very nice playground for kids. Our room (2) was very nice and there is a variety of tea and coffee provided in the room! The bathroom is modern and very clean with a really great shower. Beds are comfy. We could store food/drinks that needed cooling in their family fridge. A nice surprise is the house´s dog buddy, who is super cute and friendly to everyone and good with kids.
