A vegetarian breakfast is available at the guest house. Amazing stay at Hotel De Khama. The owners of the hotel, a family, are very friendly. The food was homemade and delicious with a lot of choice. The rooms are very clean, tidy, there are absolutely no strange odors, and it smells like wood since most of the interior of the hotel is made of wood in the Euro style. I was amazed by all this after many nights at home stay of Ladakh. However, most of all I was amazed by the beautiful garden of various flowers near  hotel De Khama. I have travelled a lot throughout Ladakh and I stayed with many families in home stays, but I have never seen such a magnificent garden with flowers in the deep Himalayas near the houses of local people. Well done! I wish them prosperity and all the best! Of course, I recommend it 100%, if you are traveling in the Nubra Valley, stay overnight in Sumur, in this beautiful hotel De Khamа.

At Honey Bee, the family-friendly restaurant is open for dinner, lunch and brunch and specialises in Chinese cuisine. Very friendly hosts and very helpful. Airport transportation perfekt. Beautiful rooms, not only warm but hot (!) showers, comfy beds, very good and rich breakfast! Quiet at night. City center is in walking distance. Once we enjoyed dinner on site, which was delicious. We travelled individually without pre-booked tour, so we had to organize a lot on site. The host helped us brilliantly with this. We could not have imagined anything better. Many thanks again for the wonderful time and your help with our organization!

A children's playground is also available at the guest house, while guests can also relax in the garden. I literally liked everything there. The staff were really welcoming and helpful, particularly Anshu and the other guy whose name I do not remember. They did their best. A dinner buffet was amazing and really tasty. If I had the opportunity to come back, I’d choose this homestay again with no hesitation.

A hot spring bath and a bicycle rental service are available for guests. The guest house features mountain views, a sun terrace, a 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi is available. We had an amazing stay at Thangkop House. We were warmly greeted by Dolma who is a wonderful host. She made us feel right at home and made sure we adjusted to the altitude. We loved Thangkop so much that we spent a few nights initially but then came back multiple times between trips to other places. The rooms are lovely and sunny. We had yummy breakfasts with homemade local bread. Wang (Dolmas son) helped us organise a scooter trip arranging for the bike to be dropped to the house for a very reasonable price and also helped us organise a trip to the Sham Valley Trek. I couldn’t recommend highly enough and if you are visiting Leh you should stay here :)

Featuring river and inner courtyard views, this guest house also has free WiFi. War Museum is 5.4 km from the guest house. Fatima the hostess is so nice! The guest house is off the main roads but in a very good location. Has a calming atmosphere with a stunning garden with small tables and a tea table with free tea all day long.

Rabyang Guest House and Homestay is located in Leh, 1.1 km from Shanti Stupa, 600 metres from Soma Gompa, and 2.1 km from Namgyal Tsemo Gompa. Featuring mountain and garden views, this bed and breakfast also provides guests with free WiFi. The accommodation provides luggage storage space and room service for guests. The host is the most amazing guy ever! Very helpful! And the location js good too! There's a nice garden and the rooms have plenty of space.

At the guest house, all units are equipped with a desk. With a private bathroom equipped with a bath and slippers, units at the guest house also offer free WiFi, while selected rooms are fitted with a balcony. The units include a wardrobe. What a wonderful place to stay and even more wonderful hosts... At first we booked this stay only for one night, so we could reset after a series of flight from Europe and a sleepless night spent at the DEL airport. They welcomed us early in the morning and provided us with a calm room, two large bottles of water and a welcome tea. Since we arrived way earlier than check-in time, our room was not ready for moving in, so they provided us with the back-up room, so we could take a rest. We liked their hospitality so much that we immediately booked two more nights at the Castle Rock, so we could acclimatize properly before continuing our trip in Ladakh. On the next day they moved us over to a bigger room with balcony. Rooms are renovated and equipped with everything a western traveler could wish. They even have a working desk if you wish to stay for a longer period and work from there. The bathroom is large and of course it has 24/7 hot water. They have an in-house restaurant for guests and prepare variety of meals on demand. Even late in the evening. Most of the ingredients come from the garden next to the hotel - you can even see the cook going to the garden to pick vegetables for the meal while you wait. The staff is truly wonderful. The owner is very kind and helpful, but two members of the staff from Darjeeling (don't know their names) really stand out. They are so kind, polite and helpful and really want to make you feel at home. In the end of our Ladakh trip we came back there to stay for two more nights. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. I had an excellent experience staying at Lhachik Guesthouse. I had only planned to stay for a few days prior to trekking, but do to an injury ended up staying for about weeks and am very happy I did. The owners are very welcoming and accommodating. They have a comfortable rooftop with great views and good chai is always available. Dinner is available at a reasonable price and is excellent. The rooms and facilities were clean and comfortable. It is located in a tranquil neighborhood within close walking distance to everything of interest. It will be the first place I look to stay next time I am in Leh.
