Every little problem I brought with me, they solved with such kindness and ease. From helping me get tailored clothes made, to fixing the screen on my phone, to preparing the most delicious meals, to even arranging a local traveler to accompany me to the ghats — they thought of everything. Mohit’s wife cooks the most amazing food, with a huge variety of delicious home-style Indian dishes. I probably ate 70% of my meals here, and every bite was a treat! As a solo woman traveler, I felt completely safe and cared for. When I ran into trouble with a bad Uber driver, they stepped in right away and sorted it out without hesitation. Whatever was on my to-do list, they somehow made it happen. Their home is full of warmth, laughter, and the sweetest little girls you’ll instantly fall in love with. Mohit’s mother also carries such wisdom and clarity in her words that, even when she spoke in Hindi, I found myself understanding. They’re wonderfully creative too — they hand painted uplifting murals to brighten the walls, from a cute panda to a serene Buddha, and they’ve even made cozy seats out of recycled tyre wheels. In the evenings, the open terrace is the perfect place to sit, while doves that have been nesting there for over five years coo gently in the background. The family also runs a small shop, so snacks and drinks are always within easy reach. Compared to the bustle of the city, this place is peaceful and quiet, yet still just a short walk from the Buddhist temples in Sarnath. The rooms are comfortable, with options to suit everyone — from dorms to single rooms and larger family spaces. Truly, this is the BEST place I have ever stayed. Located within 1.1 km of City Palace and 1.3 km of Jantar Mantar, Jaipur, Raghunath Haveli - A Boutique Homestay provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Jaipur. This recently renovated guest house is located 1.6 km from Hawa Mahal - Palace of Winds and 4.7 km from Jaipur Railway Station. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. Very beautiful and luxurious haveli - makes you feel like you've gone back in time. The hosts live there, so you can see the love with which it's decorated and maintained. Spotlessly clean. The hosts are warm and helpful, and staying here gives you that Rajasthani experience you can't get at a hotel. The homemade breakfast is simple yet delicious, and everyone looked forward to the chai, which we thought was the best we had in India.

A vegetarian breakfast is available at the guest house. Amazing stay at Hotel De Khama. The owners of the hotel, a family, are very friendly. The food was homemade and delicious with a lot of choice. The rooms are very clean, tidy, there are absolutely no strange odors, and it smells like wood since most of the interior of the hotel is made of wood in the Euro style. I was amazed by all this after many nights at home stay of Ladakh. However, most of all I was amazed by the beautiful garden of various flowers near  hotel De Khama. I have travelled a lot throughout Ladakh and I stayed with many families in home stays, but I have never seen such a magnificent garden with flowers in the deep Himalayas near the houses of local people. Well done! I wish them prosperity and all the best! Of course, I recommend it 100%, if you are traveling in the Nubra Valley, stay overnight in Sumur, in this beautiful hotel De Khamа.
