The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and everyone on the property wants you to make a good stay! Home made coffee and tea are excellent ;)! We are a family of 5, have backpacked in Kenya and India in last month, this is one of our most enjoyed place on a reasonable budget. Hot water, laundry service, free wifi, flat screen, working AC are not just a promise as in many other hotels we visited so far. Our hosts are present on the property always ready to help you with anything. E.g : we were looking for dinner and they made proposals and managed the delivery, we were looking for good places to visit and they made tuned recommandations for our group (we have a 6 year boy), we were looking to wash some of out cloths and they helped us with it.... and always with a BIG BIG SMILE ! Million thanks to Mr Balaji, his wife and personnel who have helped us to enjoy the stay ! Hope to visit you again ! We do recommend this place !

The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, always happy and very kind and effective. Neighbourhood is peaceful and the views of Arunachala are great. The whole experience was beyond what we were wishing for. The apartment is very clean and spacious and bright, very good floor plan too. We highly recommend it. Also, neighbours are all very friendly and sweet.

A lovely lodging surrounded by serene gardens, perfect to relax with a cup of tea and read your book. The whole atmosphere is very calming and peaceful, perfect to recharge. The room was exceptionally clean. My room came with the private terrace, which was an added bonus. You definitely need to arrange some mode of transport to get around, though it’s a 15 min walk to the Auroville road, where you can find all the shops/ cafes.

The place has everything you need — a comfy room, kitchen, fridge and all the basics to make you feel at home. The room is very clean, has AC and has a very good water filter system!!! The owner is super kind and helpful, which made the whole stay even better. The location is also perfect — really close to some of the best restaurants(Da Mantra) in Tiruvannamalai and just a 20-minute walk to Ramana Ashram. Honestly, it felt like a home away from home, and I’d definitely come back again! Thank you Soundarrajan for you hospitality. 🙏
