Featuring a restaurant and cafe on site, Blabjorg Resort is in the fishing village of Borgarfjordur Eystri, 71 km from Egilsstadir. I reserved gesthouse rooms with shared bathroom (because no other room left) and I had my doubts. But the reality exceeded my expectations. Small but cozy room, comfortable bad, linens, towels like in 5* hotel, bath rooms are like 5*hotel too. In addition, you have a shared kitchen. Instead, we tryed the hotel restaurant and enjoyed it very much. The spa is superb!!! Don't miss it! We had a discount for spa about 17%. Sea view was wonderful, like TV with wild sea life podcast just outside your windows. Lots of seabirds! Puffings lookout just 5 min drive away.

Set in a characteristic wooden house, Við Lónið Guesthouse is an accommodation in Seyðisfjörður. Picturesque village, quiet and clean. The guesthouse was easy to find. It is totally renovated with good taste. It's balcony rooms overlook a lovely pond. Even though they don't serve breakfast, the room was equipped with an electric kettle, a coffee machine and a cooler. There were courtesy coffee capsules, tea bags and a chocolate bar.

The room was very clean, and the staff were warm and welcoming. The farm animals were adorable and made the stay more enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious, and overall it was a pleasant experience.

Lyngás Guesthouse is located by Route 1 in Egilsstadir, East Iceland. It offers free parking, a shared kitchen and basic rooms with free WiFi. The host who welcomed us was very kind and friendly, she explained everything clearly and answered our questions. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed, and it was clean, which made cooking very easy. The location is excellent, close to a supermarket and other services. Our room was comfortable with a good-sized bed, and the bathrooms and showers were also clean, with enough available per floor so it never felt crowded. We had a very good stay and were able to rest well.

Set in a peaceful, natural setting, Eyjólfsstaðir Guesthouse is just a 10-minute drive from Egilsstaðir and the local airport. Very nice location. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good as well. Parking available.

We loved our stay in this Guesthouse a lot. We stayed only one night but would love to stay longer. The area is very quiet and the room we stayed in had a spectacular view (we were lucky to watch the best Aurora from our bed 😀).The breakfast was delicious with a good coffee as well. We really recommend to stay here.
